CCER is an Accredited Agency with the Commonwealth Agency, CrimTrac, and as such is able to conduct National Criminal History Record Checks (police checks) for Catholic employers in NSW and the ACT.  Police checks are undertaken principally to ensure that persons in positions of trust, specified fields of endeavour and/or required to meet legislative requirements (e.g. Aged Care Act 1997) are adequately screened for criminal records. Police checks may be general in nature or targeted for particular kinds of occupations.

All Catholic employers are eligible to register with CCER for the National Criminal History Record Check service. The following fees apply to police checks:
