Parishes, Dioceses and Religious
Institutes (PDRI)
CCER assists parishes, chanceries and other Diocesan employers as well
as Religious Congregations with their management of employment relations
matters.
CCER is able to assist with workplace issues including interpreting awards,
such as the Clerical and Administrative Award; advising on rates
of pay for staff such as housekeepers and secretaries, as well as
drafting contracts
and providing advice on disciplinary matters and child protection
issues.
"The service we find most valuable is the telephone advice. We often
need information on wage rates, calculating leave entitlements
or preparing a contract for a new employee. Sometimes we also need
advice
on dealing with unexpected situations that arise with staff.
It is great to be able to call CCER and get this information when it
is
needed."
